Credit Authorization
The authorization you provide for us to obtain and use consumer report information.
Placeholder pending attorney approval
Authorization
By checking the credit report authorization box and submitting a pre-qualification or application, you authorize DriveBridge Auto Finance, its affiliates where applicable, and authorized service providers to obtain, use, and review information from one or more consumer reporting agencies for the purpose of evaluating, processing, underwriting, servicing, or otherwise administering your request for vehicle financing, as permitted by applicable law.
You understand that this authorization may result in an inquiry appearing on your consumer credit report.
Credit inquiries
DriveBridge Auto Finance reviews consumer credit information as part of every financing evaluation. When we obtain your consumer report, the inquiry may be reported by the consumer reporting agency and may affect your credit profile. The effect of an inquiry varies with your individual credit history and the scoring model used. We do not offer a no-inquiry or no-impact credit review.
FCRA notice
Placeholder for required Fair Credit Reporting Act notices, including your right to know whether a consumer report was requested and the identity of the consumer reporting agency that furnished it.
ECOA and Regulation B
We do not discriminate on any basis prohibited by the Equal Credit Opportunity Act. You need not disclose alimony, child support, or separate maintenance income unless you want it considered.
Adverse action
If credit is denied, a notice of action taken will be provided as required by applicable law, including the identity of any consumer reporting agency whose report was used. Final language pending counsel review.
Record of consent
When you provide credit authorization we record the applicant and application identifiers, the authorization identifier and version, the date and time of acceptance, the authenticated account where applicable, the IP address where legally appropriate, and the consent status. These records are retained in our compliance audit trail. Employees cannot create or alter an applicant credit authorization on the applicant's behalf.
Version control
This is draft disclosure version CRA-2026.08-draft-1. It is a placeholder written for build purposes and must be replaced with counsel-approved language before production. Each consent record stores the version accepted, so prior authorizations remain tied to the exact wording presented.
